The first half of the 2015 market was strong  with 204 single family closings. 

Were home prices up or down in 2015?

At $154,900, the median closed price was 9.6% higher than 2014 and the highest since 2007.

How long were Monroe homes on the market in 2015? 

Homes sold faster in Monroe in 2015.  Median days on market this year is 87, a 20% decrease from 2014. 

What was the Monroe condominium and townhome market like in 2015?

Fourteen townhomes and condos sold in 2014 at a median closed price of $148,000.

Were distressed sales a big factor in the 2015 market?

Monroe is still a good place to find foreclosures and short sales although the numbers continue to decline.  Distressed sales accounted for approximately 13% of the 2014 market.
