Why do people live in Quellin?

Would you like to live in a small town with a quaint historic downtown?  Would you like to be able to walk or bicycle to the grocery store?  Would you like to live in a beautiful neighborhood with community amenities?

If so, consider Quellin, a neighborhood with a choice of home styles and price ranges.  Three builders built homes in Quellin from 2003 to 2007.  Some homes are full brick with transitional styling.  Others are craftsman homes of shingle and stone with big front porches.  They can be as small as under 3000 square feet or over 5000 square feet.  Some homes have three car garages.  Some basement homes are available in the community.

Nearby downtown Waxhaw offers quaint shops and a variety of community activities and festivals.  The Cureton Town Center shopping center is within walking distance of the neighborhood.  Here you’ll find a grocery store, restaurants, and banks.  A Lowes Home Improvement store and a gas station are located across Providence Road from the shopping center.

Public schools for Quellin students are also nearby.  Situated on the same campus, the middle and high schools are the newest of the Union County schools.

Neighborhood students attend Kensington ElementaryCuthbertson Middle and Cuthbertson High.  School assignments are subject to change. Check with Union County Public Schools for current information.

Quellin Real Estate Market Report

Fourteen homes sold in Quellin in 2012.  The highest sales price was $462,000.  The median closed price increased 4.3% from 2011.  Market resales accounted for most of the sales in 2012.
