Why do people live in Fairfield Plantation?

Whether you are looking for a small affordable home or a larger brand new home, Fairfield Plantation in Stallings NC is the neighborhood for you. The neighborhood was built from the 1970s to the early 1980s with mostly full-brick ranches and two-story homes. These homes range in size from approximately 1000 square feet to about 2400 square feet.

In 2012, True Homes, a new home builder, began construction on some previously un-built lots scattered throughout the neighborhood. In 2013, a new section of the neighborhood will be developed with True Homes offering thirteen different floor plans. The new floor plans will include one ranch, four homes with a master bedroom on the main level and eight different two-story plans with a master bedroom upstairs. The ranch will be about 1600 square feet in size but other floor plans can have as much as 3600 square feet. Homes will have vinyl siding. Base prices will start in the $160,000s and go to the low $200,000s.

Fairfield Plantation has community amenities for its residents. These include a swimming pool, walking trails, a playground, tennis courts and a recreation area.

One of the best features of the Fairfield Plantation community is its convenient location. The Stevens Mill Shopping Center is adjacent to the neighborhood with a sidewalk along Stevens Mill Road offering an easy way to walk to restaurants, the drug store and the grocery store. An interchange with I-485 at Lawyers Road is just a few minutes from the neighborhood.

Which schools do Fairfield Plantation children attend?

Neighborhood students attend Stallings Elementary, Porter Ridge Middle, and Porter Ridge High. School assignments are subject to change. Check with Union County Public Schools for current information.

Nine homes sold in Fairfield Plantation in 2012. Over half the sales were new construction The highest sales price was $239,940. The median closed price increased over a third from 2011 because most sales in 2012 were higher priced new homes.
