Cureton in Waxhaw NC Has Two New Builders

Cureton is a large neighborhood in Waxhaw NC where construction began in 2006. The neighborhood was designed as a mixed use development with a variety of housing styles and price points as well as retail shops. Most new construction stopped when the recession took hold leaving some areas partially developed or undeveloped.

Two new builders recently have begun construction in the neighborhood again. Both have opened model homes and have sales people on-site. A description of Cureton’s two newest sections follows.

Ryan Homes

Ryan Homes is building on 60’ and 80’ homesites. The homes range in price from $209,000 to $280,000. The smallest home offers approximately 2200 square feet and the largest is over 3200 square feet. The builder is offering plans with the master bedroom down, including a ranch home, as well as plans with the master bedroom upstairs. The exteriors are covered with Hardi Plank siding and all homes are Energy-Star qualified.

Ryland Homes

Ryland Homes is building full-brick homes with three-car garages. These homes range in size from approximately 3100 square feet to almost 4000 square feet. Pricing is from the $350,000s to $400,000. Some basement lots are available.
