Four Union
County NC small towns have been ranked among the top 20
best places to live in 2012 by an article in Yahoo Voices. Marvin
and Weddington
were ranked #1 and #2 respectively. Waxhaw
came in at #16 and Wesley
Chapel at #19.

Yahoo Voices rated incorporated municipalities with more than 2000 people
based on three criteria: median household income, percentage of residents 25
and over who have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and property crime rates per
