Located in Mint Hill NC, a small town adjacent to Charlotte, Brighton Park was designed to offer a compact walkable development with homes, parks, and stores in Mint Hill’s core. With most of the housing complete and the adjacent retail center offering shopping and dining, Brighton Park has fulfilled its promise to bring vitality to downtown Mint Hill.

Brighton Park’s streets are laid out around five parks. A linear park with walkways, benches, landscaping and a heritage Magnolia tree welcomes visitors to the neighborhood. The other parks provide natural views and places to enjoy the outdoors.

Most of the neighborhood has single family homes, both ranches and two-stories. Three-story attached townhomes are also available for those who prefer a more urban feel. Construction began in 2004. Most new construction in 2011 was in the townhome section.

Brighton Park residents can walk to the grocery store, restaurants and other services in the retail center next door. This center also has a child care center.

Brighton Park Real Estate Market

Twenty eight homes closed in Brighton Park in 2011. Half were single family homes and half were townhomes. New construction accounted for 50% of all sales in the neighborhood. All of the townhome sales except one were new homes. Distressed sales were roughly 11% of the market in 2011.
