Crown Point Elementary is located on Sam Newell Road in northeastern Matthews NC.
The school serves students north of Highway 74 from Margaret Wallace Road to
Highway 51.
Crown Point Elementary opened in 1993. The school has kindergarten through
5th grade classes on a traditional calendar. In 2010-2011, approximately 770
students attended the school with class sizes ranging from 19 to 28 students.
Crown Point was named a School of Distinction with Expected Growth in
2010-2011.
