Union County NC Area Towns Kick Off the 2011 Christmas
Season

For some of Union
County’s towns, the Christmas season starts before
Thanksgiving. Hemby Bridge had its celebration and tree lighting on
November 19th. The annual Union County Christmas Parade marched through Monroe
last Sunday. Click here to see photos of the 2010
Christmas Parade. The 12 Days of Christmas in Waxhaw kicked off yesterday
with a holiday festival of lights, a treasure hunt, caroling and carriage
rides.
