Allen Tate Realtor Summit at The Greenbrier Resort
Allen Tate Realtor Summit at The Greenbrier Resort

Every September-October, the Allen Tate Company invites the top 5% of
its real estate agents to a conference at a resort. Because Allen Tate
has a large foot print in the Carolinas, this means that roughly 100 agents
participate. This year, the Allen Tate Realtor Summit was held at The
Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
I was honored to be invited this year and to be a part of this select
group of agents. We spent three days at the Greenbrier last week
participating in workshops and enjoying the facilities and activities of this
beautiful resort set in the Allegany mountains.
The workshops were led by national speakers who discussed the future of real
estate marketing. Social media were the centerpiece of these discussions with
special emphasis on Facebook.
Allen Tate managers also discussed new programs in development for the
company’s agents. Networking with other top producers was also an important
part of the conference.
We did have time to participate in some of the Greenbrier’s activities. Some
agents went to the spa for facials and massages. Others went fly fishing or
shooting. A number of us took a tour of the Bunker, the cold war era facility
that would have housed our government in case of a nuclear attack. The Bunker
is a fascinating look at a time that a lot of us remember as children.
Now I’m back from the Allen Tate Realtor Summit with some new ideas
and plans for next year. Thank you, Allen Tate Company, for including me in
conference.
