Meriwether in Indian Trail NC is a great neighborhood for first time home buyers.
Homes in the Meriwether community are more affordable than many Indian Trail neighborhoods built in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Home styles in Meriwether include small ranches with open floor plans as well as two-story homes. Most homes have one or two-car garages.
The Meriwether neighborhood has two sections, one on each side of Rogers Road. Each section was designed to have a village atmosphere with the eastern village consisting of larger homes and the western village emphasizing starter homes with ranches predominating. Both villages have access to the Meriwether neighborhood amenities, including a fishing lake, clubhouse and pool, volleyball and basketball courts and walking trails.
Meriwether is located in the Sun Valley area about midway between Matthews and Monroe. A grocery store, a bank, restaurants, coffee shop and service businesses are nearby with big box retailers within five miles of the neighborhood. The Shiloh/Sun Valley schools complex is within two miles of the neighborhood.
