I decided to check out the festivities in Mint Hill NC and in Matthews NC on a beautiful fall day with Carolina blue skies.
The Matthews Rotary Club sponsored the 4th Annual Chili Cookoff and Bluegrass Festival for Veterans Day. The event took place in Stumptown Park in downtown Matthews. Bluegrass musicians at the band shell provided the music and a number of teams vied for honors at the Chili Cookoff in the park.
Good food and good music!
