Schools in the Indian Trail Area 

Public schools in the Indian Trail area are part of the Union County Public Schools, a county-wide school system that serves all of Union County, one of the fastest growing school systems in North Carolina.  Some of the schools serving this area are older, even historic, and some are brand new.  Indian Trail Elementary was the Indian Trail school built in 1923.  This school  housed all grades and the original building still stands surrounded by newer additions.  A brand new elementary is under construction in Stallings.  Shiloh Elementary, which serves several Indian Trail neighborhoods, operates under a year-round program.
